“I’m late! I’m late for a very important date.”Do you ever feel like this little guy? Seriously lately I’ve felt like I’m late for something yet I have no idea what that something is. I’ve done everything I can think of that I need to do, well that I can do right now. There are a few things that have to wait till the baby comes. Yet I have the nagging suspicion that something still isn’t done... And it’s something I should do now.
But what the heck is it?
Does anyone else get this feeling? And just what do you do when you get like this?
Usually I make lists. Lists are nice. You write down what you have to do, then cross it off as you do it. But how can I make a list if I can’t remember what it is I’m supposed to do? Think this might be that thing they call “pregnancy brain”? Where you can’t remember anything. It gets replaced by “mommy brain” after you have the kid. Where you kinda wander around like a zombie, trying to figure out what your supposed to be
doing and why your carrying around stuff animals, toys, or dirty clothes. Oh maybe it’s a combo, “pregnancy brain” on top of “mommy brain”, double whammy.Which means I’m probably more like this guy...-->
*Sigh* I guess I’ll figure it out at some point. More than likely at the least opportune moment, but at least I’ll figure it out.

Congratulations on the baby! When are you do? Is this your first baby?
I don't have any kids, but I take care of my nephew, so I can understand the mommy brain. There's always something your forget, either for school or yet another birthday party/present. My friend Jinx calls me the Human PDA because I remember everything, except when there's an over load of information, and that's when you stand on the middle of the street scratching your head with a blank stare wondering what just happened? LOL!
Thanks Dee. I'm due March 4th, yup just two more days. This is number 2, I have a five yr old daughter.
I have to carry notepads with me for everything. And if I don't make a grocery list... we might as well go home cause I can't remember a thing and it's only got worst. I'll stand in the middle of our living room and just look dumbstruck, trying to figure out what I was just doing. Arrg...LOL!
*shivers in horror* Diapers. I still have nightmares involving flesh eating diapers LOL! So you know the sex of the baby?
LOL! Use your cell phone. Normally they all have a schedule/calendar & a place where you can write notes. My best-friend is the same way, she forgets everything. When we go food shopping she tells me what she has to buy and I have to remind her lol. Now she's been using her cell phone as well. She's getting better.
Yeah not looking forward to those. We're having a boy.
Actually I rarely use my cell, I don't even know if it has those features, lol. It's just a cheap tracfone jobby. I used to have a cheap little pda, but it disappeared. I think my daughter might of had something to do with it, but the notepads work as long as I leave them in my purse.
Boys are so much fun! Just becareful chaging the diaper and their little engine has a mind of their own LOL
What is it with kids and cell phone? My nephew used to slobber all over mine all the time. Now he's 9 and has his own *rolls eyes*
lol I know I have two nephews.
My daughter like to play with the ring tones on ours.
